how to attachment seats for 1956 C-3

I have the bucket in the floor, the top & bottom seat; BUT how do I attach? The bucket has NOTHING on it to attach the seat to. The holes in the seat attachment must go into something but what? I hope I make sense? I am confused - any helpers out there that know what I am talking about?
