i recently acquired a 66 W300 with, according to the PO, a mid-70s vintage 318. engine is seized. i'm considering replacing engine with a 360. are there any differences between a truck 360 and a car 360 (forged vs cast crank)? Any particular years to look for/avoid? Is the 360 externally balanced, thus requireing use of the 360 flywheel? Are intake and exhaust manifolds interchangeable? will my tranny bolt up to the 360? If not, will the 318 bellhousing bolt up to the 360? Is the torque and hp gain of the 360 over the 318 noticeable/worthwhile? Info and suggestions greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. john
