Running 11.00x16.0 Michelins XLs on the diesel Crew Cab, drivers front rubs slightly on the
drag link if you crank the wheel all the way to the left. I like this tire and wheel setup better than the previous 36" Hummer tires on 16.5 wheel. The truck steers much easier with less width, outside-to-outside of tire. To prevent the rub, I suppose I could try to adjust the stops, but there is no real problem.
The 1969 Crewcab D200 sold.
I am working on another 64 W300 Crew Cab, 6.354 Perkins, and very large 13.00x20.0 Michelin Xs, from a duece and a half that didn't use duals.
The large tires were $75.00 each surplus, and I spent another $100.00 per wheel, made by Henry of Airplane Tire in San Antonio. This will be my beater, trail buggy, mud toy, etc.
