440 crankshaft and 4 speed

I have finally found a bigblock bellhousing for a for my '76 Powerwagon
I also have the opportunity to buy a '73 Chrysler New Yorker with a 440 and auto trans.
Can anyone tell me when Mopar stopped drilling every crank for pilot bushings?? And if I
need to have this one drilled, how much of a problem would it be???
