Chris,
VPW sent a welt for the front that is similar to the back. The back is more of a black rubber type material whereas the front is sorta fabric. The front is like a cord, maybe 3/8-1/2" diameter with a "tail" about 1" long. If I read your reply right- the cord part should be compressed between the fender and the cab and the tail is split rivited to the fender. From earlier posts, I understand the back welt is put on with the cord potion sticking out of the top of the fender bed joint??
