A few forums back, someone asked if $600 was a high price to have a radiator recored. My answer based on having the Carryall radiator recored in 2004 was Yes, It seemed high.
I was/am totally out of tune with current radiator core prices. They have soared thru the roof. I just had the Radiator recored for the M37 at the same place that did the Carryall Radiator. I had a new core, inlet and outlet ports moved and changed in size to match the Cummins ports. With the Ports on the radiator moved, I can use nice sweeping hose runs that allow for good flow and look proper. The total cost for the job was $701.75. Dont forget the .75 cents ha ha. The new core cost is what drove the price thru the roof. And I was told prices on cores are climbing each week.
