not surprisingly, i love old equipment,and im ususally patient about its idiosyncracies etc.But these insert cutterheads are worth their weight in gold.if you get a nick,just rotate one cutter and expose a new edge,and no need to reset infeed/outfeed rollers upon changing cuttersets.If you've got the time(and three phase power) try finding an old Oliver,theyre still out there. i found one at Bath Machinery in Maine about ten years ago. Its The Power Wagon of Planers!
