Yesterday I put the wiring back together and re-installed the seats with the intention to check out the clutch and suspension. well she wouldn't start again!
After reviewing everything I had done and re-checking the TPS setting, All she would do is start and run for a brief moment and die. Ah! I quickly disconnected the start ballast resistor by-pass wire, and VAROOM! She started and kept running! IT turns out that power was back flowing thru the started and taking the current away from the coil.
Well I as able to check out most of what I wanted and give the family member a little ride (see picture linked below).
But after she dies on me from running out of fuel, I went back to yard work for the day. At the end of the day I went an put some fuel in her and went to put her away, but she didn't want to start well again. Once I did get her started, she didn't want to run well, and died on me making one more lap around the neighborhood. Then she wouldn't re-start again. Now back to the trouble shooting, oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
