Well I gotta say it warms the heart to see you went north. Sometimes I figure they don't make gas tanks or Jerry cans big enough for this country. Your fuel economy was better than I had figured. Did you know all the bombers during the war(American B-17s,B-24 Liberators, Mitchell B-25s, Canadian Lancasters,etc.)all used to land at Goose Bay. Last stop for juice before crossing to Britain to enter the fray. Newfoundland is the only province I've never seen so I sure enjoyed your slides. I loved the ol' Bombi too. Bombardier(the man)bought a ton of surplus Sherman tank parts right after the war and the rest as they say is history. Don't know if you looked under the cowel, but you'd have seen a Dodge Flattie in there if it was original. Most I've seen out here have all been converted to 350 SB Chevys.Sorry was that e-mail Isent you still good?
