A 2500 heavy duty is a 1 ton truck and so on. What ever happened to a 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton and a 1 ton truck just like it used to be. All this heavy duty stuff is just for sales. You get a truck thats says 2500 heavy duty but its a 3500 truck. Ford makes a 1/2 that can tow 11,000 pounds. So what can a 3/4 ton truck tow. It doesnt make any sense to me. Old school.
