For the most part I agree with you, I think the parts books just show the standard picture, and that setup was only meant for the 2wds. On the other hand I have been told of people finding PWs with the fresh air heater setup that looked like a dealer or factory install.

I do not think it was common, but I was told that the ones people have found used the B series parts in basicly the standard way the 2wds did.
