I had a problem with my 99 Ram shifting, the transmission cable that attaches to the throttle body was out of adjustment. The truck shifted around 4000 rpm while driving like a "grandpa".
The rotor in my dist. also fell apart and caused all sorts of engine problems and codes to show up. I pumped so much raw gas into the cat that the honeycomb blew up and shut the exhaust off completely.
My solution was to by a 2004 Cummins six speed quad cab.....
