...that's the beauty of the different ECU's and the adjustable distributor. You can set it for the rpm range that you want to run, none of my trucks see more than 3500 rpm, no need, but the ECU will pull higher if you need it, like driving over the Grapevine in second or third gear. The Kit is infinitely adjustable, if you desire.
But the main advantage is the increased voltage output, hotter spark, whatever you want to call it. It gives you a more consistent spark which translates into a more complete fuel burn for power and fuel economy. Some here have converted the Slant 6 kit into the flathead, but I hear that the Slant 6 kit has been discontinued.
