I believe the wire can be fished through if you have patience. I have never done this as I replace the original steering box with a Saginaw Power Steering Box and make a comuntator to handle the rotating contact needed for the horn. If I were going to try to fish it through, I would use a stiff/straight wire for best results. Good Luck
