wheels, hubs & spindles

I asked this question on Gordon's forum and I'll ask ya'll here too (for those of you who don't frequent both).

Left rear wheel spindle threads are chewed up pretty bad. Any options for repair or replacement? There aren't any mobile spindle companies local to me. Anyone in the western states have a replacement axle tube I could use?

And.... if my memory serves me right, I need to have the seals on the back of the hubs pressed in at the show, right? Its been a long time...
