The service manual shows GJC-7002-A as the generator for the 1956 12V C3-PW6-126 or as I have found on actual trucks, PW6-126 or C4-PW6-126. That is different from the GJC-7012-C that I think is correct for 1957 W300s.

I would be interested to know if your truck matches the service manual anyway, that is the sort of information I like to collect.
