I keep a 70# chunk of 2" steel around for an anvil. I took off my rockers by drilling out the spot welds, hammered them flat, welded up the fork lift holes, and welded them back on. I don't think my bondo is more than 1/2" thick....

But if they were really bad, I'd get them fabricated locally. 2 shear cuts, three brakes each, do the end details yourself with a crescent wrench. Bow them with a rubber mallet.
