A long but successful day. I got about half way to Southern New Hampshire and lost my trailer brakes. Got out and jiggled wires a bit and got them back, for a while. Did that again and then the third time couldnt get anything. The roads were dry and the yugo was doing fine stopping so I continued on. Delivered the truck to John, who needs to stop lurking now and come out in the open! Had a great time chatting with him, and then headed north and hooked up with Ned C. (watch for his beautiful W-300 in Lindas Calender for April!) Had a great time checking out his truck fleet and generally talking trucks and life etc. Then home across the White Mountains via the Kankamangus Highway, a truelly breathtaking ride through the mountains. My Dad used to carve duck decoys for a living and he had an account in North Conway New Hampshire. He would load up the station wagon to deliver them. I would ride along with him as a kid and we would often take the Kankamangus to get there. I havent been on it since, it was a real blast from the past!
