Well,
I just got back from Missouri visiting my folks. It was a wrenching marathon. Dad and I spent about 70 hours in 5 days working on various vehicles! We did a lot of work to get the Land Cruiser ready for the trip to Baja (ARB Front locker, Tuffy center consol, dual batteries with 200A battery seperator, ARB fridge, Roof Rack). We also worked on the boat that we are taking with us, a 12' Zodiac Inflatable with a 25 hp outboard.
And, we spent time on the Carryall. We installed front and rear lockers and compressor. We also threw on tie rod ends and a NEW set of 1100 - 16 XLs. Man, do those lockers make a big difference! We have a test hill on the farm that normally stops most vehicles. With the lockers, the carryall motored right up to the top! The last time I tried with the carryall, it made it about 10' up.
Enjoy,
Dan
(P.S. If anyone is interested in the winch on the carryall, I am planning to replace it with an MU2 - I will sell the whole setup, winch, bumpers, and winch drive assembly for $500)
