I am fairly new to the powerwagon world, but I have been pulling tractors out of fence rows and rebuilding them since I could turn a wrench. It sounds to me like there is a valve that is stuck. The engine will turn till that valve is called upon to open then whamo no movement. Is there any way you can try to turn the engine backwards? If it is a valve, do not try to force the engine over, because you will end up with a bent mess. A freshly rebuilt engine will sieze up a lot faster than an old worn out one, less oil, carbon, junk to prevent rust and lot less clearance to sieze up.
Just my 2 cents.
