Hey Tom in Oregon,
I've been in CO for 22 years, but I'm from North Canton also! Got out of Hoover HS in '78, worked for the school district there, and got my piece of paper from Kent State just up the road! I left for the mountains in '85. Lots of friends and family in the general area and Mom's still in our house on Woodside St. (1 blk N of Schnieder Rd, and 4 blks E. of S. Main St.). I was last there at Christmas time. Wonder if we know anyone in common? If not, I bet we could talk about a lot of the places and how they've changed. From when-to-when were you there and where did you live? Small World ... but I still wouldn't want to paint it!
