I finally got the pto working, after hacking off the left side muffler/tail pipe below the exhaust manifold. A quick trip to the muffler shop for re-routing the pipe around the winch drive line, back home to wind the cable on the spool, adding oil to freshen the cable up a little, and it's ready to work. I once heard that the LU2 winch was born for the W300. I believe it.
Now to approach power steering or power assist for this truck or to start on the winch on the W500. This really is a disease. But it comes with a lot of rewards. As Gordon said in the April PWA,.... well, I had better not say it. Mine was late, but others might still be coming. JH
