Jpeg is obsolete? BUMMER! Geez, ya take a little nap and the whole damn world changes on ya. Now what is used? I have all kinds of lenses for the Mavica, and like I said, outside of that delay, it was a great camera. I could get some real fine close ups, and some reeeeal far away shots. And for me, that SteadyCan thing was/is a Godsend.
Come April, we're looking to get a Sony Digital SLR, but I'd really like to keep the Mav as a back up, or for Maynard. What happens is the gears inside the floppy adapter strip. When that happens, it sometimes messes up the gears inside the camera (that work the floppy).
8 out of 10 times, all ya need to do is replace the adapter and your good to go. Hell, I got more memory sticks than Carter has pills. Mostly the 132's. My wife still has some contacts with Sony, and we're still looking for some adapters. Hopefully if we locate some, we'll be back in business.
