I have installed 6 bolt and 8 bolt PTOs, but never a 10 bolt. This one has a little copper tube threaded into a hole in the mounting surface above the bolting area which leads to a small pump activated by an eliptical cam (?) that turns on the main shaft in the PTO. I assume that the open end of the tube is supposed to enter into the transfer case to provide pickup for the oil pump. Probably a dumb question, but I want to get it right. Comments, please? JH
