yes, this is true. I paid nearly $30K
for my 98 Dodge 24V 4x4, it is worth maybe $12K now.
However, I used my 1998 to haul vehicles coast to coast, vehicles that I made money on. And use it for daily transportation, or to haul a PW to an event.
Most PWs used nowdays will be relegated to recreation, some of which will cost you money to do. And I bet most of the time the PW will be hauled by a newer Dodge truck.
Depends on how you look at things I suppose.
