Just purchased the 54 C1 and need to know where to go to get the best but most reasonable locking hubs. It has what appears to be an original dump ram so is therefore absent the rear portion of the running board. Where is the original location for the spare tire and who has the proper mount? It also has, what appears to be original, a mast type mirror, approximately 2.5' high on the right passenger fender. It is riveted onto the fender; has anyone seen one of these before? It has 7.00 X 16 tires on it, I know they should be 7.50 X 16's, due to the fact tat it has 4.89 gears. What will happen with 9.00 X 16's and will I need new rims? Should it be left alone?
