It wasn't until about 15 years ago that I learned that Chocolate was 'very bad' for dogs. When on a long ride, my mix collie/shepherd would put his head on lap and between the two of us a box of Chocolate Chip cookies would be devoured. Now, I look back and think how lucky we were. He could eat those cookies faster then I could.
