Spark Plug Air Pump

Anyone ever seen or used a Schrader Spark Plug Air Pump? I have one a got from my grandpa, Looks to be from the 50's but could be older, he went to mechanics school in 1936 and could have gotten it anytime since then.

It's really neat, you remove a plug, connect it up, and air up your tire.

Does anyone know when these were made? It came in a metal box and still has the instructions and adapters in the original boxes but no date.

I plan to clean it up and put it under the seat of the '57 Power Wagon.
