Back in high school my best friend had a 1970 Baracuda with the factory 318 and automatic transmission. (It was only a $1,000.00 car at the time. If only he had kept it.) That thing was so light in the rearend even with the little V-8 in the front and two passengers in the rear seat, we could never get it to hook up. Just turning a 20 MPH corner on dry asphault and getting on it a little, the rear would pass the front and we would end up skidding backwards. Yeah, we were young inexperienced drivers, but I have to ask, how can ANYONE control a Hemicuda with a 4-speed transmission? I have always been partial to the '68-'69-'70 Baracudas, Chargers, and Road Runners, but is no wonder so many of them ended up wrapped around trees.
