I had a MAX for a few years, but no tracks on the 6 wheels. It was useless in snow as the belly would ride up on the snow and hang you up. It was fun during other times of the year, but yet not a true 'go anywhere machine'. No ground clearance, I ran over a small stump and poked a hole in the front of the belly pan, backed up to see what I hit and poked a hole in the rear of the belly pan.
The BEST thing is down hill on snow covered roads. Get going about 20 or so haul back on a steering lever and she would go into a 360 continous spin. When you had enough let go of the steer lever and she would come right out of it.
Bottom line in my opinion....Waste of money
And the chain drive Dave mentioned was a nightmare. Used a Clutch similar to a snowmobile.
