Brake issue.

when I drive my truck for about 10 miles the pedal will become rock hard (to hard zero play). The brakes will become locked and I have to crawl under the truck to back off the adj. nuts at the pedal to release the locked brakes. But then the pedal goes to the floor. Do I have a bad wheel cylinder? or is the brake pedal not adj. correctly?
