The joint that broke is between the transmission and the transfer case, so there is no moving the truck.
This happened when plowing snow but I was able to recover a couple parts. The one clamp (bolts onto the yoke) is broken as is one of the bushings. I also found a couple of the c clamps (retainers) that were ok. Inside the broken bushing were some roller pins...where do they go? I do not see these on the parts list drawing...are they part of the bushing? The yokes themselves look ok.
All this based on a fast inspection, it is cold laying on the snow wiht a howling 0 degree wind.
I have never messed with joints before, is this going to be hard to put back together (providing of course that I buy the missing parts)?
I do have other snow removal equipment, one tractor with a back blade which is ok for snow that is not more than a few inches deep, and another tractor with a 5 foot blower which can do most anything. However, the Power Wagon is best for most jobs, fast and warm!
