radiator fan

i did the helitool V8 conversion, dropped a 360 in. only problem is i think the stock fan from the 360 is gonna be waaaay to far forward when i reinstall the radiator and housing. it already looks close and i haven't even gotten the parts installed yet.
any advice on how to correct the situation? i know i can get different fans or even convert to an electric fan setup, but i'd really love just to bolt something on....
