I think machining or milling from a solid sheet would be costly in materials(lots of waste) and would take a $$$ Multitool machine to do. I think the Best option is a Mold tooling die and forging out of aluminum. Polish it or anodize it black. I totally agree with you that the original has it's faults(nice watertrap) and that's why we're looking for replacements anyway.

Okay, who out there can spend some time behind the computer and design it. Sounds easy anyway, HAH! It's nice to dream though, Kevin
