My name is Justin Carr and I own a 1962 W100 Power Wagon. It is the shortbox with the 318. I am the second owner and have everything down to the manual that came from the Power Giant factory. There are not too many straighter trucks out there. Within the last year It came out of Hibernation and I began to redo it. It's completely mechanically sound. New Intake, Carb, Clutch slave, Clutch master, brake lines, Brakes, Wheel Cylinders, shocks, stearing stabilizer and shock, Tires, Rims (I took off the splits and put solid white rims on.) Looks just like the splits when they are new but the are safe. New Gas Tank, Gas Lines. New Distributor. I have the receipts. Interior is Great and all the guages work. Drive Shafts rebuilt and more that I am probably forgetting about. The truck had a VERY Minor peice of Rust on the Passenger door repaired some time back. The repair is old and shows a small crack in it. Other than that the Truck has always been virtually rust free. That's right, the floors are dead solid. Even the rain wells up top are great. They have that rubber coating in them that is starting to flake, but no rust. Truck is super clean because it has been in the dry climate and kept inside. I probably have about 10 grand into just this last year. I know I am upside down but I would like to get something back. The reason I am selling is because I lost my company car. I was relying to heavily on that. I've been using the truck everyday because it is completely reliable. I am without a car that I can use for my family. My wife has her car but she works also and I need a four door again. I hate to get rid of it. I believe I even have the order form that went to Dodge when the truck was ordered in 1962. It's really killing me because I planned on giving it to my 2 year old when he grew up. It's got 56,500 miles on the tach. Original owner claims that to be accurate. Runs like it only has 56,000 on it. I'm accepting offers. The link below is a picture taken about 10 years ago. The truck is just as straight but the paint is faded to orange. I am located in Colorado.
