The Braden MU-5 weighs 440 pounds installed (with PTO & shafts) yet is rated only at 10,000 pounds safe working load (but probably with a 2.5:1 safety factor, the old way of making things safe). They fit very nicely behind an extended the front bumper of a W500, sort of like a MU-2 or -3 on steriods. They also fit well immediately behind the cab of a 2-3 ton flatbed truck. Too large for a WDX-WM300 PW, the striking family resemblance nevertheless tugs strongly at the heartstrings of "old iron rights" activists. If you don't save it, who will??
