Oil Pan Gaskets

I've learned from the archives that I should not cut the ends off of the oil pan gaskets, that they are intentionally longer so that the ends compress for a tight seal.

Question is: on the two curved gaskets, I assume you just leave the ends sticking straight up but what should I do with the two side gasket ends? Tuck them downward between the curved gasket and the pan? The side gaskets are about 1/4" long on all ends.
