I toured the Knight & Carver yacht co. a few years ago. We're talking multi-million dollar boats here. The hulls absolutly gleamed. The boys working there were painting them with rollers! Linear polyurethane paint? It flowed out on hulls in their normal position- from vertical to angled overhead. Nothing lying flat. The tour was on a Saturday, not much dust-raising going on. And the paint didn't smell too bad either. And can't possible cost anymore than PPG er other name brand auto stuff.
I think the source was Proline Paints in Chula Vista?
I wonder if they were using Home Depot rollers?
