more thought, ethanol added to gas now when mixed with the old gas and water forms a sticky gum varnish that sticks your valves open or closed. a additive will help prevent this. i had a ford v-6 that would barley run until i added bg 44k to the 6year old gas and the ethanol blended gas. so i think you always need
some thing to keep the vales lubed
