Why have there never been any other photos of this truck, taken from other angles? It's always the same old picture, with Sheik Doofus standing in front.
Why would someone, in making such a large structure, reproduce the front bumperettes, winch base, and upper winch support arm in such detail? Note the seams and rust between these parts. Why not just make a big sheet-metal assembly?
Note the front fenders. Imagine the engineering and physical effort that would be required to produce these.
Look at the light reflecting from the rear bed panel, just behind the cab. The factory unevenness, typical of all sheet metal parts, is evident. The bed top rails are too good to be repros, too.
My verdict...HOAX. (And that has been my verdict ever since I first saw this photo, several years ago.)
