Thanks for blowing up the pic. It looks like an 'overlay frame' with the glass retained in rubber molding, like is done on the back windshields of pick up trucks. The overlay frame could be fiberglass, glued permanently, or hinged. But I wouldn't think they would find the operable windshield worthwile in Dane-stan, they would rather a sealed one.

I wonder what they did for wiper motors? Apparently nothing, or we would have heard.
