Hi all,
Looking for 2, 3 spd trannys that are column shift for slant six engines my friends trucks.
Truck #1:
73 D-100, VIN# D13AB3S144755
Truck #2:
73 D-100, VIN# D14AB3S224925
I am not sure of the engine sizes. I think they are 225's.
I have a bead on one tranny that is comming out of a late 60's Dodge with a slant six. I think it is a 225ci.
Questions:
How many different size slant six's engines were made. I am only familiar with the 195 and the 225.
Is the Tranny bolt pattern the same for the 195 and 225?
I am interested in knowing what column shift 3 spd trannys will bolt up to these engines.
OPTION: What floor shift, 4 speed trannys will bolt up to the slant six engines?
Will a 195 and 225ci slant six fit the same three spd trannys?
Will all slant six's in the late 60's and early 70's bolt up to the same 3 spd trannys?
Who might have a tranny for sale??
Thank you,
Mark in NJ
