I really dont know. That is what we do with the chrome molly tubing in airplane fuslagas. after welding bring the joint up to a dull red and let it cool slowly, called normalizing. I am going to cut a section out of a dodge frame and see what it is. I dont think it is worth having it spectrograpted. But it is easy enough to find the carbon content. How is the WC project going?
