A while back I had my 63 wm300 tank "renued" and when it came back I had to ground the sending unit to get the gauge to read. Someone has now suggested that since the actual tank is not grounded(covered in the renued material) that I could have a static electricity issue waiting to become a big issue! The filler neck is of course metal, connected to the tank by a rubber hose and hose clamps. I'm interested in anyone's opinions as to if I really do have a serious concern.
