Could someone here run me through the steps of using a pressure brake bleeder? I made one earlier today out of some parts around and want to make sure I do it right. It's got a tank for oil and an air pump to pressure it up.
Here's how I see it:
Put the master cylinder cap on with the fitting for the bleeder.
Pump the tank up to relatively high pressure (15-30 lbs?)
Open each bleeder starting with the rear driver side and working foreward. Bleed until no air bubbles.
I have a clear hose to use with the bleeder to catch the fluid coming out. Am I missing something? Mainly I don't want to over pressure the system, but I figure that it must have a working pressure of at least 300lbs and be able to stand much more. Is there any check valves along the way that I have to overpower or bypass?
Thanks again,
