My opinion is that it will be to gawdy for a PW. I would go with a black frame/running gear, bright red /metalic light gray for the body and metalic light gray for fenders and running boards. I think that would look sharp. Metalic Silver might also look great.
Before I ever strip a truck for a makeover, I get rattle cans of paint in the colors I think will look good. I shoot only the parts of the truck I can see standing to the side. Then I can get back and see how it really will look. Then it all gets blasted off anyway for real paint prep/body work.
I thought I would like My M37 in White and Black, like another one I saw. I did the above with rattle cans, stepped back and said NO !. Its now Red/Black. Picture is of the trial rattle can paint job on my M37.
I have found using Photowork Shop and coloring it on the computer is NOT the same as seeing it in person.
In the picture is my M37 with the White/Black Rattle can paint color test. It really takes only a few rattle cans since your not going for a good job, just color scheme.
