WE are a family on this forum, bring our experiences, problems and things that bother and concern us. I being a religious man, see this as a test of faith for your family. Satan attacks each us 24x7 to do his best to separate us from God, unfortunately, one his most powerful evil schemes is bringing sickness upon a child. From that, parents start questioning their faith -- why did it happen to my child? If there is a God, why does he allow it?, the list of questions can go on and on, however, it begins to break the bond between man and God, Satan’s ultimate goal. I have seen to many times parents and individuals that have turned from God when faced with trouble and difficult circumstances.
I do not know your religious beliefs, but if you do have a relationship with the Lord, hold on to your faith no matter the out come. We are here on this earth temporarily and for the believer, there is eternal life after physical passing. We will be joined with our loved ones, its God’s promise! Do not allow Satan to change that!
We will keep Patrick in our prayers for healing and also you and your wife to sustain your strength during this battle.
