Hi Mark,
Pressure sure is amazing. Every time I use my backhoe, watching the big cylinders strain I am in awe of their power. One time the loader control valve crapped out. I bought an aftermarket one and put it on. While the ports were all in the same locations, the functions were not all the same. There is a smaller cylinder that keeps the bucket level as you raise and lower it. If funtions automatically. Somehow its control was not proper, the first time I tested it, the leveling cly. activated at the wrong time and split the top off the loader frame. It is a steel rectangle, about 4" x 8", capped and re-inforced, at least 1/4" thick amd it pushed it around like it was made of cheese.
Now I level the bucket manually!
Yup, mistakes can be costly.
