The transmission was a standard case that was used on all Dodge trucks back then, even the 2wd ones that often had a dump bed and needed the rear facing PTO. You cant even install a regular reversing (winch type) PTO on that side as the driveshaft is in the way. There might be room for a single direction PTO to drive a mounted hydraulic pump or something, but I've never tried it.
