This one is a 46 out of Broken Bow OK. The original booms were removed after it was retired from AAA and a custom longer pole was installed to lift boats at the marina that bought it. The bed installation was very profesionally done, bolted down with a piece of channel iron formed to fit the original PW frame and used the original running boards and rear fenders. I still have this truck just as pictured, just can decide what to do with it. The second wrecker I bought had the bed removed after an accident years ago(hit from behind and really screwed the frame up), it was also a 46 and out of Anson Tx. I was told by my neighbor(who was pulled by it as a kid back in the 50's) it had a similar Holmes unit on it. The sheetmetal from it is now the trailtruck.
I don't know about other years but can acount for two from 1946.
